Experience the power of group fitness with daily classes included in all memberships, at no additional cost. Our classes are taught by certified instructors and offer a wide variety of choices to fit your preferred training style. They’re suitable for all fitness levels, as modifications can always be provided. Whether your goal is to burn fat, tone your muscles, hit those high-intensity exercises or improve flexibility, our classes and community will help you get there.

  • At Mountain Fitness we strive to provide the best fitness experience possible. We want all of our members to be able to access and enjoy our services. When classes are full, “no shows” and late cancellations cause an inconvenience to other members, as well as class instructors. When a class is booked, that spot has been reserved for you and when it is missed or cancelled on short notice, it is often missed by someone else who would have taken it had they been given sufficient notice. This results in classes with lower numbers than anticipated, while members on waitlists do not know to show up for the class.

    If you do not show up for a class or cancel after the noted times below, Mountain Fitness Center reserves the right to bill you $5.00 for each no-show and late cancellation.

    • We do realize that on rare occasion emergencies may arise and we will address these situations with you at that time.

    To avoid late cancellation fees:

    • Morning(AM) classes: please cancel by 8:00pm the day prior.

    • Afternoon/evening (PM) classes: please cancel by 12:00pm the same day.

    Your name will be removed from the class list and your spot given to the next member in line.

Class Descriptions:

  • This high energy, fun-filled, non-intimidating fitness kickboxing class will guarantee you a total body workout experience which combines boxing combos, kickboxing, and cardio drills that appeal to all levels. Challenge your technique, endurance, and above all, concentration. *Please bring your own gloves if possible!

    This class is great to let go of stress, built up energy, and release frustration. The beginner and elite athlete alike will both build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, as well as build strong lean muscle throughout this challenging workout.

  • A metabolism boosting workout utilizing effective strength moves, multiple joint movements and full body exercises performed at a high intensity. The workouts move quickly, the exercises are constantly changing, and it forces you to use your whole body as a unit. This class is suitable for all fitness levels, but be prepared to work hard!

  • Designed to ‘crush your weak’ and challenge you no matter your current fitness level. Get ready for a little bit of everything. Sessions are dedicated to enhance your overall strength and conditioning levels, as well as balance, agility, core and coordination. You can expect all your favourite Circuit or HIIT movements and more in this physically demanding workout.

  • A circuit style class suitable for all levels of fitness. This class is the perfect wake up call for your body as it incorporates HIIT and functional strength movements to increase your muscular endurance and conditioning from head to toe. Best way to get your heart pumping and start your day with a sweat!

  • 45 minutes of toning and training movements with free weights, focusing on full body exercises to bring on the ultimate sweat. We’ll do a combination of AMRAP, HIIT and more to keep you on your toes.

  • A class you would want to wake up for! Tailored for anyone regardless of fitness level, a bootcamp style class designed to help build full body muscular strength and tone that will fill out those shirt sleeves!

  • A work out that enhances the active Squamish lifestyle! Gain pedal power, speed and efficiency along with boosting your cardiorespiratory and cardiovascular fitness, that provides you with the capability of crushing any mountain activity. This is a 45 minute intense work out coached by a pro level mountain biker/ triathlete. Workouts include:

    • hill intervals (muscular endurance and power)

    • speed builds (efficiency and fast twitch muscle activation)

    • tempo sets (boosting cardio endurance and solid cadence)

  • Whether you're looking for a stronger core to preform your favourite activities, maintain better posture or simply looking to obtain those washboard flat abs - this class is designed to bring awareness to your core engagement while gaining strength and stamina. Balance and stability exercises will also ensure your firing from your core while toning other areas of the body. This class follows a typical HIIT format. High intensity interval training is fast paced, exciting and best of all, constantly evolving to keep your body guessing. Designed to build strength and push your cardio to the max in one compact session.

  • This indoor cycling class is designed for all fitness levels. The intensity of your ride is under your control, allowing you to work at a pace that is right for your body. Get your sweat on to time or music-based aerobic endurance conditioning and anaerobic interval training motivated by expert instruction! Classes focus on drills that build power and endurance on the bike and brief, high intensity, bursts that enhance your speed, strength and stamina, all while making you dig deep to push yourself both physically and mentally.

  • Come sweat it out in our spin class, where we keep the music and energy high. A 30 minute intense but low impact cardiovascular workout, followed by 15 minutes of strength with free weights or bodyweight. Prepare your mind and body for the day ahead.

  • This class is a 45 min warming practice designed to strengthen and open the body and help you perform better in your adventurous pursuits. We’ll move through sun salutations, standing and balancing postures, seated poses and a grounding closing sequence. All levels are welcome! *Please consider bringing your own mat
